The European Utility Week is a platform for achieving a fully integrated and interconnected electricity system and market in Europe. It hosts the environment for all key players in the smart energy ecosystem to come together and discuss European strategy to achieve a smooth transition towards a low carbon energy supply. The 3-day programme explores four key areas in European energy: Digitalisation, Decarbonisation, Energy Markets and Innovation. The project has been awarded in the framework of the EU Sustainable Energy Week.

On May 24, the WiseGRID project was chosen as the winner in the Technology and Design category of the ‘Good Practice of the Year’ award in Copenhagen. The prize is presented annually to outstanding practices that show initiative and innovation when it comes to integrating renewables into the grid.
